Netizens began to speculate whether the post referred to Angel Locsin or Iza Calzado. Many pointed to Iza potentially reprising her role as Amihan in the upcoming ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’, which would mark 20 years since she first played the character. However, her manager, Noel Ferrer, clarified that Iza would not be part of the project.
Meanwhile, fans latched onto Angel Locsin’s name after her official Facebook page shared a GMA News article about her recovering her X account. This prompted speculation that the post might signal her return to her former home network.
Some fan accounts even teased Angel’s return, though they lacked concrete evidence. Fans expressed their eagerness for her comeback, as the actress has kept a notably low profile in recent years.
The guessing game ended when GMA Network officially announced that Vina Morales is the artist making her Kapuso return. Morales is set to star in ‘Cruz vs Cruz’, an upcoming teleserye led by Elijah Alejo and Lexi Gonzales.
Although Morales will now appear on GMA Network shows, she remains under the management of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
