Social media influencer and YouTube vlogger Riva Quenery has confirmed her breakup with longtime boyfriend Vern Ong.
The former couple shared the news through a joint statement on Instagram, revealing that they had separated a few months ago.
“As many of you have noticed, we are no longer together,” Riva wrote in the post. “We broke up a few months ago. However, we remain on good terms and continue to co-parent Athena.”
Quenery and Ong, who welcomed their daughter Athena in October 2021, emphasized that the split was amicable and dispelled rumors of any third-party involvement.
“We’d appreciate it if those spreading false info could just stop,” they stated.
Despite ending their romantic relationship, the pair reaffirmed their commitment to raising their child together. “There are no goodbyes because, at the end of the day, we will always be Athena’s parents and will continue to love and support her,” the statement added.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2019 and later announced their pregnancy in May 2021. Their announcement has been met with an outpouring of support from fans and followers, who commended the two for their maturity and focus on co-parenting.
