The Palawan Group of Companies has officially partnered with JCI Manila for the Colorfest Carnival Run 2026, a large-scale fun run aimed at promoting fitness and mental health awareness.
The partnership was announced during a media launch held at the Palawan Group’s Manila office in Mandaluyong City.

Scheduled on May 31, 2026, the event will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Complex grounds in Pasay City. Organizers are targeting up to 10,000 participants, with early registrations already reaching around 6,000 runners.
The Colorfest Carnival Run will feature multiple race categories, including 21K, 10K, 5K, 3K, and 1K distances, making it accessible to both seasoned runners and casual participants.
Beyond fitness, the event carries a deeper purpose: supporting the Philippine Mental Health Association (PMHA). Proceeds from the run will go toward building a dedicated wellness facility for individuals seeking help with mental and emotional challenges, with organizers aiming to raise at least ₱2 million.
Bobbit M. Castro, Chief Operating Officer of the Palawan Group of Companies, emphasized the broader mission behind the initiative.
“We believe that ‘serbisyo’ goes beyond providing financial solutions. It is about being present where all our fellow Filipinos need us most. Today, that need includes creating safe spaces, raising awareness and supporting initiatives that care for mental health,” he said.
He added: “It is more than a celebration of movement, fitness and community — it is a meaningful step forward championing mental health in the Philippines, a cause that deserves greater attention, understanding, and most of all, ‘malasakit.’”
Edison Ke, president of JCI Manila, assured participants that safety measures are in place through coordination with the Philippine National Police and local government units, along with the presence of first-aiders throughout the event.
The run is also supported by Hyve Sports and is envisioned as one of the biggest and most inclusive fun run and lifestyle carnival events in the country.

More than a traditional race, the Colorfest Carnival Run will feature vibrant color zones, music, and a carnival-style atmosphere designed to foster community engagement and open conversations about mental health.
Open to runners, walkers, families, corporate teams, and first-timers, the event aims to create a safe and joyful space where participants can celebrate movement while supporting a meaningful cause.
