GMA Prime’s top-rated romantic comedy ‘My Ilonggo Girl’ is set to air at an earlier time slot beginning Monday, March 10, at 9:25 p.m., following ‘Mga Batang Riles’ on GMA Network.

The move comes after the series achieved a record-high rating of 7.6 percent on NUTAM People Ratings on March 4, cementing its status as the number one kilig-serye on GMA Prime. For those who miss the primetime airing, a delayed telecast will also be available at 11:30 p.m. on GTV.
As the story unfolds, Jillian Ward’s character, Tata, undergoes a major transformation in her quest to take control of her fate against her enemies—Venice (Myrtle Sarrosa) and Vivian (Teresa Loyzaga).
“Magiging mas malupit sina Venice at kaniyang pamilya pero, siyempre, hindi na magpapaapi si Tata,” Jillian shared in an interview.
The young actress further teased the changes in Tata’s character: “Mas may knowledge na siya. Hindi na siya kakaya-kayanan ng pamilya nila Venice. Halos lahat nagbago kay Tata—’yung pananamit niya, ‘yung pagsasalita niya, ‘yung pag-iisip niya. Ngayon, mas strong na ‘yung personality niya.”
Her on-screen partner, Michael Sager, who plays Francis, also expressed excitement for this new chapter in Tata’s journey.
“Excited din si Francis ma-meet ang Tata 2.0, kasi isang revelation ‘to sa buhay niya. Baka mawindang siya sa kagandahan ni Tata.”
With ‘My Ilonggo Girl’ approaching its finale, Jillian Ward revealed that she plans to take a short break before embarking on her next big project.
“Medyo magbabakasyon lang, pero magwo-work pa rin. Makikita n’yo ako diyan kung saan-saan for now. Bago ‘yung next project ko, may mga bagay kasi ako kailangan hintayin.”
