Kapamilya singer-actress Maymay Entrata is in mourning following the passing of her beloved mother, Lorna Entrata, who succumbed to cancer after a two-year battle.

In an emotional Instagram post on Thursday, May 16, Maymay shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother along with a touching video of one of their last walks together in Japan. The clip showed the mother and daughter laughing, singing, and dancing to ‘Amakabogera’ and classic hits like ‘That’s What Friends Are For’ and ‘Hawak Kamay.’
In the video, Lorna can be heard saying, “Suwerte ako sa mga anak ko, peace. ‘Wag mo ako alalahanin, I can manage myself.” The two also sang together, showcasing a deeply personal moment filled with love and joy.
Maymay continued her message, expressing how much she would miss her mother and the invaluable lessons she taught her about unconditional love and resilience:

In a powerful reminder to her fans, Maymay urged everyone to cherish their loved ones while they still can:
Lorna Entrata, who worked in Japan to support their family, had returned to the Philippines several months ago for treatment. Her passing has drawn messages of love and condolences from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
LionhearTV extends its deepest sympathies to Maymay and the entire Entrata family during this difficult time.
