Kapuso journalist Kara David expressed her disappointment over the eviction of the ShuKla duo—Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse De Guzman—from ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’.
Known for their sincerity and strong presence inside the iconic house, the duo’s exit on the sixth eviction night drew emotional reactions from viewers, including David.
Shortly after the eviction was announced, Kara posted her sentiments on Facebook: “Sobrang lungkot. Para sa akin, si Shuvee at Klarisse ang pinakatotoo sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya. Haaaay. Ang lungkot ko talaga .”
She also shared her admiration for the two, thanking them for their courage and authenticity: “Salamat Shuvee at Klarisse dahil na-inspire n’yo kaming lumaban. Sa buhay, manalo man o matalo… ang mahalaga, lumaban.”
When one netizen implied regret over not voting for the duo, Kara responded candidly, saying, “Bumoto naman. Pero sadyang mas may pondo lang ang iba.”
This reply resonated with many fans, who agreed with her perspective.
Shuvee, dubbed the Island Ate of Cebu, and Klarisse, the Kuwela Soul Diva of Antipolo, were among the fan favorites in the show. Their eviction leaves behind AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer), and Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera (DusBi), who remain in the competition.
