Former actress Jackie Forster has spoken out to address recent rumors that her son, basketball player Kobe Paras, owes his ex-girlfriend Kyline Alcantara a substantial amount of money.

According to veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin, Jackie denied the allegations and claimed the truth is quite the opposite. During the time Kobe and Kyline were still together, it was allegedly the actress who incurred debts, not the cager.
Fermin shared that when Kobe moved out of Kyline’s residence, he left behind several of his belongings, including a large television and other valuable items. However, whenever Kobe would return to retrieve his things, Kyline was reportedly not home.
Fermin also cited a source who claimed that Kyline once borrowed money for an overseas trip and has yet to pay it back.
Meanwhile, Kobe Paras has remained silent on the matter, choosing not to comment publicly despite the buzz surrounding the issue.
This comes after online chatter suggested that Kobe owed Kyline up to ₱1 million, a figure that surfaced following a social media tirade from Jackie Forster.
In the same timeframe, aspiring singer Rhaila Tomakin clarified in interviews that she was not romantically involved with Paras, even after being spotted with him in Bali, Indonesia. She said Kobe was not her type, stating that she preferred more mature men.
In a separate vlog appearance with Ivana Alawi, Kyline was asked about her biggest turn-off. Her response—“Yung walang direksyon sa buhay. Basically, ayoko ng tamad”—was seen by some netizens as a subtle jab at her ex-boyfriend.
As of now, neither Kyline nor Kobe has issued an official statement regarding the rumored debt. LionhearTV remains open to publishing both sides of the story should they choose to speak.
