Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is taking center stage once again—but this time, not just as a performer, but as a first-time judge on GMA Network’s newest dance reality competition, ‘Stars on the Floor.’

Set to premiere on June 28, the show promises dazzling performances, fierce collaborations, and a celebration of Filipino talent on the dance floor.
During the show’s grand media conference, Marian opened up about her decision to finally say yes to being a judge—something she had turned down in the past.
“Pero bilang dance ito at hilig ko ang magsayaw… love na love ko ang dancing talaga, nag-yes ako dito,” she shared. “Every time nag-da-dance talaga ‘ko, na-e-express ko ‘yung sarili ko sa iba’t ibang anggulo.”
Known for her viral TikTok routines and passion for performance, Marian admitted that the show has reignited her joy for dancing onstage. She also teased an upcoming production number that pushed even the judges outside their comfort zones—an effort inspired by the courage and dedication of the contestants themselves.
“Ako pala ‘yung mas natuto habang nanonood ako sa kanila,” she added, emphasizing how much she’s grown by simply witnessing the contestants’ passion and resilience.
When it comes to judging, Marian has one main criterion: authenticity.
“Hinahanap ko—isa lang lagi ko sinasabi—gusto ko enjoy sila habang ginagawa nila ‘to… habang sumasayaw sila, ine-enjoy nila ‘yung bawat indak nila kasi laban nila ‘to sa tagumpay eh.”
‘Stars on the Floor’, dubbed the ultimate “COLLABanan ng Stars sa Sayawan,” pairs celebrities and digital dance influencers to take on various genres—hip-hop, contemporary, ballroom, Latin, swing, and more—guided by some of the country’s best choreographers.
The Celebrity Dance Stars include Glaiza de Castro, Rodjun Cruz, Faith Da Silva, Thea Astley, and VXON Patrick, while the Digital Dance Stars are Zeus Collins, Dasuri Choi, JM Yrreverre, Kakai Almeda, and Joshua Decena.
Marian is joined on the judging panel by Pokwang, the Star Comedienne of the Dance Floor, and Jay Roncesvalles, Dance Trend Master and known choreographer to SB19. Hosting the show is Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Directed by Miggy Tanchanco, Paolo Valenciano, and Johnny Manahan, ‘Stars on the Floor’ promises to be both a dance spectacle and an inspiring journey for performers and viewers alike.
Catch the premiere of Stars on the Floor this June 28 on GMA Network.
