Speculations are swirling around ‘Eat Bulaga’ host and actress Atasha Muhlach and businessman Jacob “Jake” Ang, son of San Miguel Corporation president and CEO Ramon Ang, after eagle-eyed fans spotted signs of a budding closeness between the two.
On June 15, 2025, Jake shared the trailer of Atasha’s Viva One series ‘Bad Genius’ via his Instagram Stories—a simple gesture that set off a flurry of excited reactions from fans. Supporters were quick to screenshot and repost the story on TikTok, asking, “Is Jacob Ang the rumored boyfriend of Atasha?”
Fans were quick to show their support for the possible pairing, with one commenting, “Very consistent yan siya mag-share sa IG story,” suggesting that Jake has frequently reposted updates on Atasha’s projects.
Fueling the rumors even further, a TikTok video showed Jake—though only partially visible—allegedly attending one of Atasha’s promotional events for Bad Genius. The caption read, “omgggg super proud boyfriend,” intensifying the speculation.
Netizens also recalled a group photo supposedly posted (and later deleted) by Aga Muhlach during the family’s Hong Kong vacation. The image reportedly included Jacob alongside the Muhlach family, hinting at a level of familiarity with Atasha’s inner circle. Observant fans also pointed out that Atasha and Jacob follow each other on Instagram and that she, along with her twin brother Andres, has liked several of Jake’s posts throughout the year.
Neither Atasha nor Jacob has confirmed any romantic involvement. In interviews, Atasha has remained mum about her love life and has not mentioned having a boyfriend or suitor.
However, a source close to the actress told PEP back in May that the two are often seen together and appear to be growing close. As of this writing, the actress’ camp has not responded to inquiries about the rumored romance.
Jacob Ang currently serves as the special assistant to the chairman of San Miguel Corporation and holds executive roles in luxury car subsidiaries under the conglomerate. He is also known in motorsport circles for competing in international racing events.
