Taiwan Excellence, through the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA), officially launched the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ campaign in the Philippines.
The global competition seeks smart, sustainable wellness solutions and encourages entries from individuals and groups passionate about transforming health in their communities.

The contest, open to global participants—including companies, NGOs, research institutions, universities, and government units—offers three grand prizes of USD 30,000 each for the most outstanding wellness proposals. The six global finalists will also be flown to Taiwan for an all-expense-paid trip to present their entries.
According to Alex Lai, Director of Taiwan Trade Center Manila, the main goal is to make wellness simple, accessible, and impactful.
“We want to help more people live healthier lives by encouraging simple, everyday habits supported by trusted products and innovations,” Lai shared during the launch.
He emphasized that Taiwan Excellence is rooted in helping people live better lives through innovation: “By sharing quality products and smart ideas, we hope to make wellness easier and more accessible for everyone.”
When asked what kind of proposals they hope to receive, Lai said the campaign welcomes creative and practical ideas in areas like fitness, mental health, nutrition, and wellness technologies.
“What makes this contest special is that it’s not only about promoting health but also about sharing ideas from people all over the world,” he added. “With support from Taiwan Excellence, we are combining innovation, wellness, and global collaboration in one meaningful campaign.”

In a press conference held at Anytime Fitness Araneta, key partners expressed support for the campaign.
Mark de Joya, COO of Anytime Fitness Asia, shared how their brand integrates technology into fitness.
“We’ve seen the power of technology to augment and integrate coaching. We’ve embraced AI to curate programs for our members,” he said, noting the synergy between their vision and Taiwan Excellence’s wellness goals.
Anytime Fitness is offering one month of free gym membership to members who participate in the contest.
Meanwhile, Arnold Wilson, Marketing Manager of Anytime Fitness Asia, said they are excited for Filipinos to experience Taiwan’s world-class health technologies.
“We also want the Philippines to experience world-class and top-notch quality products from Taiwan.”
Growth Circle International Founder and Chairman Reymond delos Reyes highlighted the campaign’s impact beyond health: “Empowering Filipinos to improve health in their communities can have a ripple effect—boosting productivity, supporting local businesses, and enhancing quality of life,” he said.
