Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda poured his heart out in a recent ‘KC After Hours’ episode, sharing just how much ‘It’s Showtime’ means to him — and why he’s willing to go to great lengths to protect the program.
“I will never allow that family or that program just vanish, or just lose. I will never allow ‘Showtime’ to lose. I will fight for it just like fighting for my life,” Vice declared passionately, reflecting on the challenges the noontime show has faced through the years, especially during the pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown.
“Because ‘Showtime’ is my life now. I’m so obsessed to it,” he added, emphasizing how deeply tied his identity has become to the show.
“Kaya sabi ko nga, this is fighting for my life because this is my life. So, I will not allow my life to be just wasted, ‘yung parang naglaho na lang siya tapos what happened,” he continued.
“Ise-save ko siya. Lahat ng kaya kong gawin, ise-save ko siya. Ise-save ko ‘yung mga kasama ko sa bahay na ‘yon,” Vice said, referring to his It’s Showtime family.
As the beloved program nears its 16th anniversary this 2025, Vice’s words echo a vow of loyalty — not just to the show, but to the people who have been part of its journey and success.
