Concert director Paul Basinillo is confident that Vivarkada 2025 — the biggest fan convention and concert of the year — will give equal exposure to all the young Viva stars taking center stage at the New Frontier Theater on August 15.

The star-studded event will gather talents from several hit Viva One series, including ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’ stars Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga, ‘Seducing Drake Palma’ leads Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, as well as the cast of ‘Bad Genius: The Series’ featuring Atasha Muhlach, Jairus Aquino, Gab Lagman, and Hyacinth Callado.
“Of course, each and everyone will be representing the series that they are starred in,” said Direk Paul during a press conference. “There will be girls’ productions, boys’ productions, some duets, and of course, group performances. But we’re very aware of the timing. Kasi sa sobrang dami nila, kailangan mapagkasya namin siya du’n sa oras na binibigay ng Araneta. So equal billing for everyone — and I don’t wanna promise a lot — but marami kaming pasabog na performances na gagawin.”
The concert also marks Viva One’s continued rise as one of Southeast Asia’s most influential digital platforms for youth-oriented and young adult content. The platform now boasts over 3 million subscribers in the Philippines and abroad — including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and the Middle East.

In addition to the headliners, Vivarkada 2025 will also showcase stars from the University Series titles like ‘The Rain in España’, ‘Safe Skies Archer’, ‘Chasing in the Wild’, and ‘Avenues of the Diamond’ — including Heaven Peralejo, Bea Binene, Jerome Ponce, Krissha Viaje, Marco Gallo, Wilbert Ross, Aubrey Caraan, Lance Carr, and Nicole Omillo.
During the press con, the cast members shared what they’ve learned as Viva artists: ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’ star Ashtine Olviga credited Viva for helping her grow as a performer. “Dito talaga ako sa Viva natuto kumanta, sumayaw… ang pinakaimportante talagang natutunan ko is magperform sa harap ng madaming tao,” she said.

Rabin Angeles added, “Dati, hindi ko talaga kaya humarap sa madaming tao. Ngayon, medyo kaya ko na pong kumanta at sumayaw.”
Fellow ‘Seducing Drake Palma’ star Angela Muji shared, “Natuto ako sa Viva sumayaw, kumanta, mag-acting… Viva really knows how to bring your star factor.”
Marco Gallo, star of ‘The Rain in España’, said he overcame performance anxiety. “We don’t have to be so good at it, but it makes people’s day. That’s why we’re doing this concert — to say thank you.”
For ‘Avenues of the Diamond’ star Aubrey Caraan, Viva unlocked her confidence. “Mas nag-boost ‘yong confidence ko in performing and acting with the help of the workshops.”
Nicole Omillo noted, “Kahit ‘yong maliit na bagay, maraming napapasaya. Lahat ng kilos namin, mag-iinspire sa tao.”
‘Bad Genius’ lead Hyacinth Callado said she’s still learning. “Definitely one of the biggest things [I learned] is becoming more comfortable with being in the public eye.”
Members of GAT, Viva’s newest P-Pop boy group, also reflected on their journeys: Michael Keith: “Just learning to take it one day at a time… you’ll be able to get ready on the spot.”
Derick Ong: “I learned good pressure — meeting people’s expectations and performing on a big stage.”
Hans Paronda: “Kapag nakikita ko na happy sila, mas nagagalingan ako. Malaki ‘yong tulong sa akin ng GAT.”

The cast expressed their excitement to perform alongside fellow Viva artists, with Frost Sandoval saying, “Super excited to share the stage with them. All of them, honestly.”
GAT’s Ethan David added with playful anticipation, “Sana mag-Daleng Dale lahat ng Vivarkada!”
