Actress Yen Santos has finally addressed long-standing rumors that she had a child with former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson—categorically denying the speculation in the first episode of her new YouTube vlog titled “Questions I Am Desperate to Answer” released on July 23, 2025.

“Okay. “He’s my youngest brother. Tatlo kaming magkakapatid.”
The actress shared that although the rumor has circulated widely on social media platforms like TikTok, she had previously chosen not to respond. So, ‘yun talaga ‘yun,” she said. Yes, malaki na siya—he’s eleven years old.
Yen further explained that Singson is a close family friend and actually the godfather of her youngest brother.
“Nakakatawa kasi he’s a good family friend. Okay? Kapatid ko po ‘yun,” she added.
According to Yen, the rumor has been around since she began her career in showbiz, making it particularly difficult to navigate during her early years in the spotlight.

She also admitted that the rumors deeply affected her because of how they involved her younger sibling.
In a lighthearted moment, Yen even suggested creating a vlog with Singson to clear the air. Oh, I love him very much. Yung kapatid ko, ha!”
