Vice Ganda didn’t mince words—though she did coat them in glitter and sass—during the latest Breaking Muse segment of It’s Showtime, where the Unkabogable Star delivered a commentary laced with both humor and unmistakable candor.
In what fans are now calling a “gloriously veiled swipe,” Vice used the show’s banter to call out toxic fan behavior amid the brewing tensions between two fandoms: ‘WillCa’ and ‘DustBia’.
The spotlight was on PBB Celebrity Collab Edition housemates Will Ashley and Bianca de Vera, whose chemistry has been widely celebrated by fans shipping them as ‘WillCa’. But Vice’s sharp wit didn’t escape the online chaos surrounding Bianca, who is also paired by another fanbase—‘DustBia’—with Kapuso heartthrob Dustin Yu. As online slurs piled against It’s Showtime and ABS-CBN for allegedly playing favorites, Vice seized the moment to sound off—subtly but powerfully.
“Wag na natin sila masyadong chikahin, baka magalit pa ang mga fans,” she quipped to co-hosts Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Bela Padilla. The line, innocently humorous on the surface, carried enough spark to fuel fan speculation.
But Vice didn’t stop there.
“Ang laki-laki ng puso ng Showtime staff! Halos araw-araw nandito ang PBB housemates, kahit andami nilang toxic na fans,” she added with a knowing grin, driving home the point that while the show remains inclusive, the behavior of some supporters is harder to stomach than a lechon hangover.
Her comedic jabs continued to pack social commentary, hinting at the whiplash mood swings of fan groups: “May araw na mababait sila sa’yo, pero pag may hindi nagustuhan kinabukasan, kung anu-ano na naman ang sinasabi!”
In true Vice fashion, she managed to turn the mirror back on the audience—literally. “May mga nakapasok bang nambabash sa amin? Oh, tingnan nyo, kahit yung mga nambabash sa amin pinapapasok namin dito!” she teased, showcasing Showtime’s open-door policy even for critics.
But the stinger came via her banter with comedian Tetay: “Okay lang kahit hindi malaki ang fans club, basta hindi toxic,” Vice said, landing the punchline with the grace of a showbiz veteran who’s been through enough fandom feuds to know where the true danger lies.
Call it shade, satire, or a simple reminder: Vice Ganda just dropped a mic—and maybe some fan clubs should catch it.
