Former actress Vivian Velez has publicly joined calls to boycott products endorsed by comedian Vice Ganda after the latter took a swipe at former president Rodrigo Duterte during a recent concert.

In a viral Facebook post, Velez shared a photo of the burger she purchased and captioned it with a pointed remark aimed at Vice.
“Burger King muna tayo… wala munang McDo dahil kay #KabayongClown,” she wrote.

Vice Ganda, however, has yet to issue a direct response to Velez’s jab.
Meanwhile, the ‘It’s Showtime’ host recently expressed his joy over returning to the noontime program after several days of absence. He thanked his supporters for their unwavering love despite criticisms from Duterte’s followers.
I am really very happy,” Vice said on-air.
Contrary to boycott claims, however, Vice Ganda has remained active in endorsing McDonald’s. In fact, during a recent episode of ‘It’s Showtime’, he treated members of the live audience to a free meal at one of the fast-food chain’s branches.
