Actor Enrique Gil and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate–beauty queen Franki Russell have become the subject of online intrigue after being spotted together in Bohol.
Bohol-based content creator Natnat Wabe Vibes uploaded a vlog on September 6 showing Enrique walking along the beach huts of Balicasag Island in Panglao, accompanied by Franki and a friend. The clip showed the group snorkeling and turtle-watching, with Enrique also accommodating photo requests from locals and tourists.
Other fans also claimed to have seen the two at a Panglao hotel, where they were caught on video descending a staircase, reportedly before heading out to explore the island.
The sightings quickly fueled speculation online, with some netizens wondering if Enrique and Franki are now dating. Supportive fans, meanwhile, expressed happiness at the possibility of Enrique moving forward in his personal life.
The timing of the buzz is notable, as it comes just weeks after Liza Soberano confirmed in Sarah Bahbah’s podcast-documentary ‘Can I Come In’ that her longtime relationship with Enrique had ended back in 2022. “I’ve been honestly itching to tell people this because I haven’t been very truthful. Quen hasn’t been very truthful. Quen and I broke up,” Liza admitted in the August 14 episode.
Enrique and Liza, popularly known as LizQuen, were in a nearly decade-long relationship but had kept their breakup private until Liza’s recent revelation.
Franki Russell, meanwhile, was last romantically linked to actor Diego Loyzaga in 2022. She has since pursued pageantry, representing New Zealand at Miss Cosmo 2024 where she finished in the Top 21 and bagged the Best National Costume award.
As of writing, neither Enrique nor Franki has issued any statement regarding their rumored relationship.
