Kapamilya star Vice Ganda made a surprise appearance on the September 25 episode of It’s Showtime, delivering heartwarming news and a heartfelt appeal to viewers and sponsors.

Though not scheduled to appear, Vice dropped by to announce that actor Donny Pangilinan had generously donated ₱300,000 to the Kariton vendors who participated in the show’s “Laro-Laro Pick” segment the previous day.
Each of the 20 players received ₱15,000, including jackpot winner Bonjing, who had earlier taken home ₱150,000. Vice emphasized how Donny’s gesture was not only generous but deeply timely, especially in a climate where institutional aid often feels absent.
“Sa panahon ngayon, parang nahihirapan tayo… Kaya tayu-tayo na lang muna ang magtutulungan,” Vice said, urging Filipinos to help one another even in small ways.
Vice also expressed her hopes for the longevity of the “Laro-Laro Pick” segment, which continues to uplift hardworking Filipinos who struggle to make ends meet. “Ito ’yung segment ng It’s Showtime na pinapanalangin ko sana magtagal,” she shared, noting that despite good intentions, segments must resonate with audiences to survive.
She appealed to viewers to tune in and support the segment, stressing the importance of ratings: “Sana tutukan nyo po ito… dahil sa ayaw at sa gusto namin, mahalaga po ang ratings.”
Turning to advertisers and sponsors, Vice made a candid plea: “Sana po matulungan nyo kami… para po ma-extend namin ang help sa mas marami.” She acknowledged the financial constraints faced by ABS-CBN and the show, promising to publicly honor any support received.
Vice Ganda has long been known for her generosity toward studio contestants—covering rent, offering educational support, and extending cash gifts to families in need. Her latest appeal reinforces the show’s mission: to be a platform of joy, hope, and tangible help for everyday Filipinos.
