Award-winning actor Christian Bables has taken on a bold new role—this time not on screen, but in the world of skincare—as the CEO and founder of Wildskyn, his very own beauty brand built on self-love, healing, and empowerment.
In an emotional launch event held at Grand Cobo Events Place, Christian opened up about the personal struggles that led him to create Wildskyn—a journey that began with insecurity but blossomed into purpose.
“There was a time when I would look at myself in the mirror until 3 a.m., asking, ‘Bakit kasi hindi ka naging ganito?’” he recalled. “But I realized, if I don’t love and accept myself now, I might live the rest of my life unhappy.”
That turning point inspired him to create Wildskyn, which he describes as “a love letter to myself and to everyone learning to love the skin they’re in.”
The skincare line, developed over four years with beauty experts from Thailand and Korea, offers a thoughtfully curated range that includes the Wildskyn Morning Serum, Night Serum, Cleanser, and Lightening Bar—each product formulated with what Christian calls “love, science, and soul.”
“Formulating the products took years,” he shared. “But I feel so blessed with the people around me—those who weren’t madamot in sharing their knowledge and who truly supported my vision.”
For Christian, Wildskyn isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement. It stands for inclusivity, authenticity, and breaking free from outdated beauty standards.
“Our goal is for people to love their skin,” he said. “We’re breaking the standards that say only fair skin is beautiful. Every tone, every texture, every story deserves to be celebrated.”
During his heartfelt speech, Christian admitted that years in front of the camera amplified his insecurities. “The spotlight magnifies every single detail,” he said. “I struggled with acne scars, and I know people noticed. But I also realized that textures on our skin are part of our story—they’re proof that we’ve lived.”
He emphasized, however, that skincare is not about erasing imperfections, but about honoring oneself through care. “When you love your skin, you radiate confidence—and that glow goes deeper than the surface.”
Wildskyn’s launch marks Christian’s transformation from actor to visionary entrepreneur, and from self-criticism to self-acceptance.
“Wildskyn is for everyone who’s ever doubted their worth because of how they look,” he declared. “It’s time to embrace who we are—flaws and all—and realize that’s where true beauty begins.”
