Speculations about the rumored marital rift between Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay have intensified after the actress celebrated their daughter Liana’s first birthday without her husband’s presence.
Ellen shared photos from the intimate celebration on Instagram over the weekend, showing only her family, close friends, and her son Elias, her child with actor John Lloyd Cruz, in attendance. Fans quickly noticed the absence of Derek and his family in the event.
In her caption, Ellen expressed gratitude to those who came to celebrate with them.
“Lili Bear turned 1! Huge thank you to everyone who came, flew in, and made her birthday so special. We felt the love!” she wrote.
However, one curious follower commented on the post, asking: “@ramsayderek07 absent ang amahan?”
Ellen was quick to respond, clarifying that Derek had been invited to the party.
“Gisendan man cyag invite dai. Ambut nanu wa cya mu tunga,” she replied in Cebuano, which translates to, “He was sent an invitation. I don’t know why he didn’t come.”
The exchange immediately went viral, reigniting rumors that the couple’s relationship remains strained.
