Beloved content creator Mama Lulu, known for her hilarious family videos and iconic catchphrase “eedjiot,” has finally returned to the Philippines after 18 years — thanks to a heartfelt surprise from her children.

In a viral video shared on the Instagram page of her son, Oliver, the family revealed that Mama Lulu thought they were flying to Pennsylvania to visit her daughter. Moments later, Oliver dropped the real surprise.
“We’re going somewhere but it’s not gonna be Pennsylvania. You think we’re going for two days. We have to pack for two weeks, not two days. It’s not even gonna be United States… For the past couple of months, me and Apple have been planning a trip to the Philippines for you,” Oliver told her.
Upon hearing the news, Mama Lulu was visibly emotional, thanking her five children for the surprise.
“I am excited… I am happy, thank you. Five of you, thank you,” she said tearfully.
Oliver later shared the touching backstory behind the long-awaited trip.
“After my dad passed, mom never really had a reason to go back to the Philippines. Almost all her side of the family was in the US. Her 2 eldest kids are OFWs, her 3 youngest were in the US. She was also a senior with disability, so it’s hard,” he wrote. “Now that her 2 grandkids moved back from Dubai and are studying in the Philippines — and we saved up enough — it was the perfect opportunity. Everything aligned.”

Fans flooded the comments with love and support: “You deserve all the love, Mama Lulu! I cried watching this ❤️.” “Through all the shenanigans, it’s clear how much you all love each other. Thank you for sharing your family with us!”
Mama Lulu rose to fame on TikTok and Instagram alongside her children through their comedic family skits and candid exchanges, often showcasing their distinct Filipino humor. Now, after nearly two decades, Mama Lulu’s homecoming marks not just a viral moment, but a touching celebration of love, family, and the joy of coming home.
