Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas has decided to close the chapter on romance following her breakup with former husband Gerald Sibayan.

In an emotional yet lighthearted interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Aiai candidly admitted that she has finally given up on love — a decision she now faces with wisdom and peace.
Finish na,’” she shared, referring to her son Sancho Vito.
The veteran actress confessed she’s still in the process of healing from the end of her marriage.
“Tina-try kong mag-move on.
She admitted that their separation came as a shock — sudden and without warning.
Aiai also confirmed that she took back the green card she had helped Gerald obtain, clarifying that it wasn’t out of anger but rather her way of standing up for herself.
Despite the heartbreak, Aiai said she is now at peace and focused on healing.
“Sabi ko nga, meron akong legacy of peace… Sabi nga nila, ‘Pain was my teacher, and healing is my revolution,’” she added with a laugh.
Aiai and Gerald tied the knot in 2017, but their marriage ended in October 2024 after Gerald reportedly broke up with her through an online message. Since then, the actress has been open about her reflections on love — even admitting that marrying Gerald was, in hindsight, a “wrong decision.”
Now, the Comedy Queen says she’s choosing peace over romance — and this time, she means it.
