For Anne Curtis, one of the secrets to living a happy and stress-free life is simple: find the right partner.
Speaking at the launch of the ManulifeMOVE app and ‘Time to MOVE – Manulife Longevity Symposium’ at the Grand Hyatt Manila, the actress shared how having a strong support system plays a key role in maintaining balance—especially for women who wear many hats.

“Number one, find the right partner,” Anne said with a smile. “You know, especially for women, it’s a lot of multi-tasking. You’re being a wife, you’re being a mother, you’re still pursuing your dreams. There’s a lot to think about.”
The 40-year-old Kapamilya star, who shares a daughter, Dahlia, with her husband Erwan Heussaff, emphasized how self-care and emotional support go hand in hand in managing everyday stress.
“Self-care and mental health awareness are so important. It’s not just about taking a break—it’s about checking in on yourself,” she said. “If you’re okay, then you’ll be able to do everything else.”
Anne, who remains active on ‘It’s Showtime’ and recently wrapped the Philippine adaptation of ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’, said that staying physically active also helps her recharge.
“Even just taking a few minutes to walk, or maybe taking the stairs instead of the elevator—it helps,” she shared. “Walking is useful at any age. You have to start as early as you can.”
The actress added that the ManulifeMOVE app, which promotes holistic wellness and healthy habits, can also serve as a guide for those managing stress or navigating their health goals independently.
“Of course, top priority is finding a good partner that will help you with that stress,” she said. “But alongside that, having the ManulifeMOVE app can also help you when you want to do things alone and you’re too shy to talk about it.”
Her husband Erwan Heussaff, who is also a Manulife brand ambassador, joined Anne at the event attended by over 500 healthcare experts, industry leaders, and partners.
