Reelist8, a financial technology company supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), has officially launched its AI-powered real estate ecosystem designed to tackle one of the country’s most persistent challenges: housing affordability.

Through its new platform, qualified Filipinos may soon own a home for as little as 0.5% equity, a groundbreaking move intended to democratize access to real estate and simplify the path to homeownership.
The launch was held during the Philippine Startup Week community event, “Unlock Reelist8 — Housing Liquidity in the Age of AI: Affordable Homeownership thru Technology,” at Acceler8 Legaspi in Makati. More than 150 business executives, industry leaders, sponsors, celebrities, and media representatives attended.
Reelist8’s new system integrates two major property platforms:
- PropertyAuctions.ph — an online portal that allows buyers and investors to discover and bid on below-market-value properties, addressing the long-standing issue of limited access to affordable listings.
- Buildin.com.ph — an all-in-one project management tool for contractors and designers, equipped with 2D/3D modeling, invoicing, real-time team communication, and instant priced takeoff generation from floor plans.
Together, these tools streamline the entire real estate journey—from sourcing opportunities to managing construction—powered by artificial intelligence.
During the launch, Reelist8 emphasized the four biggest barriers preventing Filipinos from entering the real estate market: access, wealth, knowledge, and time.
For many, navigating real estate processes is overwhelming, time-consuming, and often limited to those who already have financial and informational advantages.
“Owning a home shouldn’t be a privilege for the lucky few; it’s a basic human right. We built Reelist8 as the intelligent path to make that right a reality,” said Marianne Dela Cruz, CEO of Reelist8. “We hope to empower more Filipinos to become homeowners through a tangible and affordable path.”
Reelist8 COO Borj de Borja added, “Our goal with this new ecosystem is to keep it simple. Every Filipino deserves access to efficient and accessible world-class tools. That’s why we’re making homeownership easier and more affordable.”

The event also featured a fireside chat moderated by de Borja, joined by actress and model Anna Feo, beauty queen and interior designer Alma Concepcion, and award-winning actress and entrepreneur Ynez Veneracion.
The panelists shared their personal investment experiences, strategies, and views on partnering with the right platforms in the rapidly evolving property landscape.

Reelist8 is hosting a free online workshop on November 21, 2025, offering live demos of PropertyAuctions.ph for buyers and investors; and Buildin.com.ph for contractors and designers.
The workshop aims to help users worldwide integrate the new ecosystem into their real estate and construction workflows.
Registration is available via Luma, while more information can be found at Reelist8.com and on the company’s official social media pages. (with reports from Lau Balocos)
