The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, the marketing and promotions arm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), proudly announces the 16th Regional Travel Fair (RTF) to be held on November 14 to 16, 2025 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The 16th edition of the RTF brings together the country’s key tourism players in a collaborative effort to highlight diverse destinations and deepen industry engagement through new tourism offerings in MIMAROPA, “Your Destination of Choice.”
“The 16th Regional Travel Fair gives travelers easier access to experiences that are proudly local, deeply cultural, and uniquely Filipino,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “It is fitting to culminate this year’s Regional Travel Fair here in Palawan, one of the Philippines’ most celebrated destinations. From its lush rainforests to its white sand beaches, MIMAROPA exemplifies the natural beauty and character that define the Philippines as a world-class destination in Asia and beyond.”
The three-day event will feature a comprehensive program designed to engage both trade partners and the public. RTF kicks off with a Business-to-Business (B2B) session on November 14 at Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa, where at least 52 buyers and 53 sellers/exhibitors from the host region of MIMAROPA, including Puerto Princesa City and the provinces of Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan, will explore business opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
Meanwhile, the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) fair will open to the public for free on November 15 and 16 at Robinsons Palawan, providing travelers and visitors with exclusive discounts on domestic tour packages, airline tickets, and accommodations. The event will also feature interactive segments and tourism showcases from various DOT regional offices, local government units, and industry partners.
The TPB will also conduct familiarization tours in Puerto Princesa City and nearby towns to highlight sustainable community enterprises and eco-tourism attractions such as Iwahig Penal Farm, Mitra Ranch, Binuatan Creations and Delma Pearl, and Baker’s Hill. These tours will further immerse invited tour operators and other stakeholders in the region’s offerings.
The 16th RTF is organized in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Palawan, City Government of Puerto Princesa City, Provincial Tourism Council, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and 2GO.
Through programs like the RTF, TPB underscores its commitment to champion domestic tourism. The 16th Regional Travel Fair in Puerto Princesa City invites industry partners and travelers alike to celebrate and experience why MIMAROPA truly stands as the Destination of Choice.
