Coins.ph brought together members of the media and its payment partners for Coins.ph Connect on December 12, 2025, at the Asian Century Center, offering an inside look at the platform’s latest products, payment solutions, and plans for what’s next.

The event, held under the theme KAGABAPAN, set the tone with a message from Wei Zhou, who reflected on the company’s strong performance over the past year and shared its vision of making digital payments more accessible, seamless, and secure for Filipinos.
Guests were then guided through a series of in-depth presentations by key members of the Coins.ph team. Andrew Garcia, Sales Lead for Local Payments, discussed how QR Ph for Merchants and WebPay are simplifying online checkouts and empowering businesses to accept payments more efficiently.

On the international front, Sophia Deverela, Account Manager for International Sales, broke down how Coins.ph’s stable remittance solutions work, offering users a more reliable way to send and receive funds across borders.
Completing the lineup of speakers, Rodizel Arceo, Product Manager for Payments, explained how Coins.ph’s payments and wallet services are designed to support everyday transactions, from simple transfers to more advanced payment needs.

Beyond the presentations, the event kept things lively with interactive activities and raffle games.
One crowd favorite was a coin-finding activity using PH stickers scattered around the venue, with participants winning special voucher prizes, adding a fun, hands-on element to the gathering.
As the program came to a close, Coins.ph teased more innovations set to roll out in the coming months.

With momentum from a strong year and an expanding suite of solutions, Coins.ph Connect gave attendees a clear sense of how the platform is continuing to shape the future of digital payments in the country—one connection at a time. (with reports from Lau Balocos)
