The final Star Magic Spotlight Presscon of 2025 put the spotlight on artists set to headline the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), with much excitement surrounding the big-screen comeback of Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin.
The popular loveteam reunites in Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, one of the most anticipated MMFF entries this holiday season.

Fresh from winning Movie Loveteam of the Year at the 41st PMPC Star Awards for Movies for My Future You, FranSeth enters MMFF with renewed confidence and gratitude. Despite the recognition, Francine shared that their approach remains grounded and focused on the work.
“Noong My Future You, hindi kami nag-expect ng sobra. Ang mahalaga sa amin ay ma-appreciate ng tao ang effort na ibinuhos namin,” ani Francine. “Parang audition ulit ‘yon para sa amin—kaya talagang pinagbutihan namin.”
She added that joining Shake, Rattle & Roll, a long-running horror franchise deeply rooted in Filipino pop culture, is a milestone in her career.

“Ngayon, MMFF naman. Malaking karangalan maging bahagi ng isang franchise na bahagi na ng kulturang Pinoy,” she said.
Seth, meanwhile, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people and institutions that stood by them through challenges.
“Lubos akong thankful sa ABS-CBN, Star Magic, at Regal Entertainment. Kahit maraming pinagdaanan, hindi nila kami iniwan at tuloy-tuloy ang suporta,” he shared.

As MMFF season draws near, FranSeth’s return signals not just another onscreen pairing but a new chapter—one that blends kilig, growth, and a bold step into a genre beloved by generations of Filipino audiences.
