Star Magic opened the year with its first Spotlight press conference, featuring Christof Sommereux among the artists in attendance. 
One of the talents on Star Magic’s growing roster, Christof officially signed with the premier talent management agency just last year—a decisive step toward honing and elevating his musical journey.
“If I were to name one thing that I’m most grateful for when it came to joining Star Magic, it would have to be the support and the community that I was able to be a part of. Star Magic has a very healthy and very loving community,” Christof said.
He added, “I cannot be more thankful for them opening their arms and welcoming me into their family.”
While he comes from a family of esteemed actors—being the son of Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas—Christof has deliberately carved out his own creative path. Choosing music as his art and medium of expression, he now develops his sound under ABS-CBN’s record label, Star Pop, guided by a clear vision and an authentic voice.
“The plan is always there to eventually enter acting, but as of now, music is my home base. I admire the profession of acting. I admire the art. I admire everyone in that space. But this [music] is my passion, and no one can touch me when it comes to my music,” Christof shared. 
Drawing inspiration from pop, rock, and alternative influences, Christof brings together a sound that feels both current and personal. Early last year, he released his self-titled debut album, a six-track collection that captures the pulse of today’s generation—honest, relatable, and refreshingly sincere.
The young artist also shared a glimpse of his life outside of music, saying, “I’m currently a third-year college student, studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of the Philippines Diliman. I couldn’t be any prouder of how far I’ve come because it’s not easy trying to balance all of these. But we’re pushing through it.”
