TV host and media icon Kris Aquino delighted fans after sharing a late-night Instagram update hinting at a possible return to interviews—this time through her own podcast.

Posting in the early hours of Monday, Jan. 26, Aquino revealed that she deeply misses doing interviews and is considering launching a video podcast, complete with a partial home tour as a birthday treat for her followers. Aquino is set to celebrate her birthday on February 14.
“With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong mag-taped as live video podcast,” Aquino wrote. “I MISS DOING INTERVIEWS! Will you watch & subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour? My birthday gift to you.”
In the same post, Aquino shared a carousel of photos and videos documenting her recent days, including moments from church visits and a medical procedure. She disclosed that she recently agreed to have her PortaCath re-done.
“This ‘carousel’ of photos and videos happened January 24 6:30–10PM; January 25 from 4 PM to 6:45 PM. I said yes to have my PortaCath re-done,” she wrote.
Aquino took time to thank the doctors and nurses who have been closely monitoring her condition, acknowledging the long hours they spent ensuring her safety. She also reflected on her late mother, former President Corazon Aquino, noting that January 25 marked her mother’s birthday.
“January 25 is my mom’s birthday. My mom never publicly shared with you all the excruciating operations and procedures she endured… She protected her privacy. I’m now choosing to post pictures/videos but not give detailed medical info,” Aquino said.
She added that she plans to share more of her personal writings and reflections only once she reaches remission.
The Queen of All Media also expressed gratitude to friends who visited her during her hospital stay, including Robin Padilla and actress Erich Gonzales.
“Thank you Senator @robinhoodpadilla for your Wednesday visit and @erichgg & @rbchanco for Friday night’s visit,” she wrote.
Aquino is currently battling multiple autoimmune diseases, including fibromyalgia, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease. She previously underwent treatment in the United States from June 2022 until September 2024 before returning to the Philippines.
Despite her ongoing health challenges, Aquino reassured supporters of her resilience and faith.
“Please change #fighting to #brave? I thank God for all of you. You don’t need to know how much I suffer, you need to see that I’ll continue praying and believing that I will reach remission,” she concluded.
