Talent manager and content creator Ogie Diaz took to social media to air his frustrations over what he described as subpar acting performances by some lead actors currently seen on television.
In a Facebook post, Diaz shared his observations after watching several hours of TV, saying he noticed that certain artists headlining shows have shown little to no improvement in their acting over time. While he did not name any specific personalities or programs, his remarks quickly sparked speculation among netizens.

He went on to offer advice particularly for actors playing lead roles, urging them to take their craft more seriously.
Wag nyong iparamdam sa audience na you DO it for the money,” he said.
Diaz emphasized that acting should not feel like a mere obligation tied to contracts or financial gain.
“Ibigay nyo naman yung puso’t kaluluwa nyo sa trabahong niyakap at pinagkakakitaan nyo. Dapat, andun ang passion,” he added.
The talent manager also criticized actors who seem stuck in the same style of performance despite taking on new projects.

According to Diaz, true acting excellence is achieved when viewers no longer see the performer, but only the character being portrayed.
Despite clarifying that he does not consider himself a great actor, Diaz maintained that he can recognize good acting when he sees it.
“Hindi naman ako magaling na artista, but I know one when I see one,” he said, adding humor to his critique with, “Anubeh?!
Diaz also appealed to the public to avoid turning his post into a guessing game.
“Kung manghuhula naman kayo, wag dito please. Igalang natin ang ‘patay.’ Umarte,” he wrote.
Although no specific network or show was mentioned, Diaz’s comments quickly ignited online discussions, with netizens speculating about which actors or programs may have prompted his candid remarks.
