In a quiet restaurant where time seems to stand still, Teresa, a no-nonsense woman in her 60s, is counting down the days until her long-awaited retirement. She is ready to check out and leave the routine behind. But her plans are disrupted by the arrival of Anna, the bright-eyed, energetic replacement meant to step into her shoes.
What begins as a reluctant mentorship quickly evolves into a clumsy, heartfelt friendship. As the two women clash over old habits and new ideas, they unintentionally shake up the sleepy workplace culture.
However, the true challenge lies within Teresa; with each passing day, she is forced to confront everything she thought she was ready to leave behind: her pride, her relevance, and her surprisingly complicated feelings about saying goodbye.
