Concern poured in for Aira Bermudez, a member of the iconic girl group SexBomb Girls, after she figured in a stage accident during their high-energy rAWnd 4 Reunion Concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Videos that circulated on social media showed Bermudez appearing to fall face-first onto the stage floor after she was reportedly dropped by one of the backup dancers while executing a risky routine. The incident immediately alarmed fans, given the physically demanding nature of the group’s performance.
Fellow SexBomb Girls member Sugar Mercado addressed the incident in a social media post, offering prayers and support for Bermudez.
“Accident always happened. Praying for your speedy recovery Kapatid Aira Bermudez-Inovero. Di ka pababayaan ni Lord,” Sugar wrote.
Another original member, Cynthia Yapchingco, also posted about the incident involving Bermudez and fellow member Aifha Medina, praising their professionalism despite what happened.
“Lalaban tayo at walang susuko. Let’s end this night strong,” Cynthia said.
According to witnesses, production staff and producers Nancy Yang and Susan Lim were visibly shaken by the accident. Medina was later seen being brought to the hospital in a wheelchair, while Bermudez was also taken for medical evaluation after the show.
On Sunday, February 8, Bermudez took to Facebook to calm worried fans, assuring everyone that she was in good condition and ready to continue performing for rAWnd 5, the final leg of their reunion concert.
“Keep moving forward,” she wrote. “Bumagsak man ako kagabi at naaksidente pero babangon at lalaban tayo ngayon.”
“I’m okay, nothing serious happened and I’m ready. The show must go on! See you later!”
“Hindi ako pinalaki ng SexBomb para bumawi—pinalaki ako para LUMABAN.”
Representatives from NY Entourage Productions later confirmed that both Bermudez and Medina were in stable condition following medical checks.
Despite the minor accident, fans remain eager for what the SexBomb Girls will bring next, as the group continues to draw massive attention for their explosive performances and surprise guest appearances—proving once again why they remain one of the most enduring and beloved girl groups in Philippine pop culture.
