Actor Dingdong Dantes could not help but react to the trending statements made by Alvin Aragon during his appearance on ‘Jigo Live’ of Abante.

Netizens were quick to notice when Dingdong left a facepalm emoji in the comment section of a Facebook post shared by social media personality Senyora. The post featured an art card containing Aragon’s controversial quote.
Aragon’s remarks came in response to criticisms he received after reportedly not allowing his wife, Izzy Trazona, to participate in the SexBomb Girls reunion concert.
In his interview with Jigo Postolero, Aragon defended his decision, saying he was simply protecting his wife.
I want to protect my wife. Ako lang titingin, kasi ako ang husband,” he said.
Although Dingdong did not release any direct statement about the issue, his simple facepalm reaction — using an image of the cartoon character Bob Belcher — quickly drew thousands of responses.
Many netizens interpreted the actor’s emoji as a form of “silent judgment” or disbelief over Aragon’s remarks. Despite being urged by some commenters to elaborate further, Dingdong did not add any additional comment.
As of writing, online discussions continue, with many debating the boundaries between “protection” and control within a marriage.
