The newest generation of Galaxy devices was officially introduced on February 19, 2026, during the Samsung Media Preview held at Whitespace Manila, where Samsung Electronics presented the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds4, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series to members of the Philippine media, technology partners, and invited industry guests.
The preview provided an early hands-on experience with Samsung’s latest ecosystem devices, highlighting advancements in artificial intelligence, immersive audio, and mobile performance.

The venue was transformed into a technology showcase where guests explored demonstration areas dedicated to the new Galaxy devices. Each station allowed attendees to interact with the products directly, creating a lively atmosphere filled with conversations about design, innovation, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in everyday mobile technology.
A major highlight of the event was the introduction of the Galaxy Buds4 series, Samsung’s newest wireless earbuds designed to deliver an enhanced listening experience. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro features a larger woofer engineered to provide deeper bass and more accurate sound reproduction. The upgraded hardware expands the speaker area significantly, enabling richer audio quality across both low and high frequencies.
During listening demonstrations, the earbuds produced noticeable clarity in layered sound—delivering crisp vocals, detailed instrumentals, and stronger bass performance. The device supports 24-bit/96 kHz high-fidelity audio, bringing listeners closer to studio-quality sound.

Comfort and ergonomics were also central to the design. Samsung engineers analyzed global ear-shape data and conducted thousands of simulations to refine the earbuds’ structure. The resulting design provides a secure fit while maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for long listening sessions.
The Buds4 series also introduces a refined blade-inspired design with a premium metallic finish and engraved pinch controls that make adjusting settings simple and intuitive. The redesigned charging case features a transparent clamshell-style cradle that showcases the earbuds’ distinctive shape while improving convenience during charging and storage.

Noise control technology was another key focus of the preview. The earbuds include upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capable of adapting to surrounding environments. Whether used during travel, daily commuting, or work, the system reduces background noise while preserving audio clarity.
Complementing ANC is the Adaptive Equalizer, which analyzes how the earbuds fit in the user’s ears and adjusts sound output in real time. This personalized calibration helps deliver balanced audio tailored to each listener.

Communication capabilities were also enhanced through the Super Clear Call feature. By doubling Bluetooth call bandwidth and incorporating machine-learning noise filtering, the technology significantly improves voice clarity during phone calls. Demonstrations showed how background noise—from busy streets to crowded indoor spaces—can be reduced to keep conversations clear and uninterrupted.
Integration with Samsung’s broader ecosystem was also emphasized during the presentation. When paired with the Galaxy S26 series, the earbuds enable hands-free interaction with voice assistants, including Bixby, Google Gemini, and Perplexity AI. Users can activate these assistants through simple voice commands, allowing tasks such as scheduling, information searches, and navigation to be completed without touching the phone.

Another innovative feature introduced was head gesture controls, which allow users to answer or decline calls through simple head movements. This feature reflects Samsung’s goal of making device interaction more intuitive and natural.
Alongside the audio devices, Samsung presented the Galaxy S26 series, which includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The smartphones represent the company’s latest step in integrating artificial intelligence across mobile experiences.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra drew particular attention due to its powerful hardware and upgraded camera system. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the device delivers enhanced performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI-driven applications.
The smartphone’s camera system was designed to improve both photography and videography. Wider apertures allow more light to enter the sensors, improving low-light photography, while enhanced Nightography Video technology keeps footage clearer and more stable in dim environments. AI-powered editing tools were also introduced, enabling users to adjust images using simple text prompts.

Security and privacy were also highlighted as key priorities. The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a privacy display that limits viewing angles, helping protect sensitive information when the device is used in public spaces. The smartphone also runs on Samsung Knox, a security platform that provides device-level protection through both hardware and software layers.
As the preview concluded, Samsung announced local pricing and release details for the new devices. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro will be available in the Philippines at ₱14,990, while the Galaxy Buds4 will retail for ₱11,490. The earbuds will launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series, with availability beginning on March 11, 2026.

The Makati event served not only as a product showcase but also as a glimpse into Samsung’s broader vision for connected technology. By integrating artificial intelligence, powerful hardware, and user-focused design, the company continues to shape an ecosystem where smartphones, wearables, and smart devices work together seamlessly to enhance everyday digital life.
