A nationwide oral health advocacy titled “Ngiting Tagumpay,” led by Sensodyne and Polident, was officially launched on March 13, 2026, at Market! Market! in Taguig City, in collaboration with the Philippine Dental Association and the Philippine Association of Registered Dental Technologists. The initiative aims to raise awareness about tooth sensitivity and denture care while expanding access to oral health education, free dental consultations, and denture support for communities across the Philippines.

The launch brought together dental professionals, healthcare advocates, and community representatives to highlight the importance of preventive dental care. Inside the activity center of Market! Market! Visitors encountered educational booths, oral health demonstrations, and interactive discussions designed to make dental care knowledge more accessible to the public. The event reflected a strong collaboration between dental experts and trusted oral care brands Sensodyne and Polident, both recognized for their role in addressing sensitivity and denture care needs.
The advocacy campaign was launched ahead of World Oral Health Day, reinforcing the importance of oral hygiene as a crucial part of overall health. Through Ngiting Tagumpay, Sensodyne, and Polident aim to empower Filipinos with the information and resources needed to address common dental concerns that often go untreated.

Research presented during the event revealed that six out of ten Filipinos experience tooth sensitivity, a condition that can cause discomfort when consuming hot, cold, or sweet foods. Despite this high prevalence, many individuals delay seeking dental care or are unaware that treatment options exist. Sensodyne, known globally for its sensitivity-focused oral care solutions, emphasized the importance of early awareness and proper dental practices in preventing worsening symptoms.
Meanwhile, denture care remains another pressing concern. Studies cited during the program show that only around 11 percent of Filipinos who require dentures actually use them. This gap highlights both limited access to dental treatment and a lack of awareness about proper denture care. Through Polident’s involvement in the initiative, the campaign seeks to promote a better understanding of denture hygiene while helping restore confidence among individuals experiencing tooth loss.

A major component of the Ngiting Tagumpay program is community outreach. The campaign will travel to major cities across the Philippines, offering free dental consultations, oral health education sessions, and essential dental procedures. In addition, 1,500 free dentures will be distributed to qualified beneficiaries, providing both functional and emotional benefits to individuals who may have long lived with untreated tooth loss.
Dental leaders stressed that early education and timely dental visits remain essential in improving oral health outcomes nationwide. By equipping communities with reliable information and encouraging regular dental check-ups, the program hopes to reduce the long-term effects of untreated dental conditions.
Ngiting Tagumpay also builds on years of collaboration between dental organizations and Haleon, the healthcare company behind Sensodyne and Polident. Previous outreach initiatives, including dental caravans and the Oplan Balik Ngiti denture assistance program, have already helped thousands of Filipinos receive consultations and oral health guidance. More than 5,600 individuals previously benefited from denture support programs designed to improve comfort and restore confidence in daily life.

The event also gathered public advocates and digital creators who helped amplify the message of oral health awareness. Among those present were Filipino content creators Macoy Dubs and The Aguinaldos, whose participation encouraged attendees, especially younger audiences, to adopt healthier oral care habits.
Through these collaborations, Sensodyne and Polident aim to bridge the gap between awareness and action. The brands emphasized that oral health affects not only physical comfort but also confidence, livelihood, and everyday interactions. A healthy smile can influence how individuals communicate, work, and connect with others.

The “Ngiting Tagumpay” launch demonstrated how partnerships between dental professionals, healthcare organizations, and trusted brands can create meaningful community impact. By combining education, outreach, and direct assistance, the initiative offers a practical path toward improving oral health awareness throughout the country.

As the program expands nationwide, Sensodyne and Polident continue to champion the message that every Filipino deserves access to proper dental care and the confidence that comes with a healthy smile. Through sustained community engagement and preventive education, the Ngiting Tagumpay campaign hopes to inspire more Filipinos to prioritize oral health—turning everyday smiles into symbols of wellness, dignity, and success.
