In the episode Dating Mr. Heartthrob, Shayne Sava and Prince Carlos play childhood best friends April and Loewen.
Loewen (Prince), a famous celebrity weary of his exhausting lifestyle and a star tired of the spotlight, unexpectedly runs into his childhood friend, April (Shayne). Seeking escape and a change of pace, he offers to help her out at the bookstore, and the two quickly reconnect.
As they reminisce, Loewen teases April about how she used to bully him, unaware that she only did it to hide her crush. Loewen, aside from coming face-to-face with the simplicity of his past, also sees the possibility of love.
With feelings resurfacing, both confront the truth—their worlds are far apart. Loewen and April revive their friendship and perhaps a deeper love, but the situation is complicated by the very different paths their lives have taken.
Will they choose to remain apart, or discover a way back to each other?
