Despite being one of the most admired young stars of her generation, Belle Mariano admits that she has insecurities just like everyone else.

In a candid mukbang conversation with Ivana Alawi, the actress shared personal stories about self-acceptance, love, career aspirations, and the lessons she has learned while growing up in the public eye.
One of the first things Belle revealed was her love for food. The actress proudly described herself as a foodie, with seafood ranking among her favorite dishes.
In particular, she said she enjoys eating crab, one of her top comfort foods.
During the conversation, Belle also recalled her first impression of Ivana.
At first, she thought the content creator and actress seemed intimidating and somewhat unapproachable.
However, after getting to know her personally, Belle realized that Ivana was the exact opposite.
According to Belle, the actress is humble, kind, and down-to-earth.
The two also discussed their personal insecurities, particularly about their noses.
When asked about insecurities they struggled with in the past, Ivana immediately mentioned her nose, prompting Belle to admit that she felt the same way.
“Ako din. Hanggang ngayon,” Belle said.
As the discussion continued, both actresses agreed that learning to embrace their natural features helped them gain confidence.
“Kuha ko ’yun sa Tatay ko pero okay lang siya,” Belle shared, referring to her nose.
“I feel like beauty really comes once you accept your imperfections and your flaws.”
For Belle, self-acceptance has become an important part of her personal growth. While she once worried about her imperfections, she now embraces them and no longer feels the need to hide them.
When it comes to relationships, Belle admitted that she can be a little jealous, although she believes everything should remain within healthy boundaries.
She also described herself as someone who loves deeply and wholeheartedly.
Asked to compare her love life to a food, Belle jokingly chose sisig, saying it can be spicy and full of flavor.
The actress also shared that she believes in destiny and the idea that certain people enter our lives to teach important lessons.
However, she admitted that trust is something she values greatly and once broken, it can be very difficult to rebuild.
Outside of relationships, Belle said she enjoys shopping but clarified that she is not particularly extravagant.
Instead, she carefully chooses the things she buys and focuses on purchases that truly matter to her.
Professionally, Belle revealed that one of her favorite roles to date is Cheska in the film ‘Tayo Sa Wakas’ because of the similarities she sees between the character and herself.
The role allowed her to connect deeply with the story and bring authentic emotions to the screen.
Looking ahead, Belle hopes to work with one of her longtime idols, Judy Ann Santos, whom she greatly admires as an actress.
She also expressed interest in exploring new genres, particularly horror films.
“Bet ko talagang gumawa ng horror movie,” she shared.
As for dealing with criticism, Belle admitted that negative comments used to affect her more when she was younger.
Over time, however, she learned that her worth should not depend on the opinions of strangers online.
She now chooses to focus on personal growth rather than seeking validation from others.
And if show business had not become her path?
Belle said she would likely be pursuing studies in psychology.
The actress revealed that she has always been fascinated by human behavior and the complexities of the mind, making psychology a field she would have seriously considered if she were not in the entertainment industry.
