Robinsons Roxas and Robinsons Antique were recognized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region VI during the Gawad Kaagapay ng Kalikasan 2026 Recognition Ceremony for their outstanding partnership and contributions to environmental conservation and sustainable development in celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2026.
Across its nationwide portfolio, Robinsons Malls integrates sustainability into the way its developments are designed, operated, and managed. Through renewable energy adoption, resource-efficient operations, responsible waste management, green mobility initiatives, and community-based environmental programs, Robinsons Malls continues to build resilient developments that create lasting environmental, social, and economic value. These initiatives support the company’s broader commitment to building better lives while contributing to the country’s sustainability goals.
As part of this commitment, Robinsons Antique conducts quarterly clean-up activities along its adopted area at the NAIA Canal in Sibalom, Antique under DENR’s Adopt-an-Estero/Water Body Program. Through the collective efforts of its Operations, Security, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Robinsons Land teams, volunteers remove debris, segregate recyclable materials for proper recycling, clear overgrown vegetation to help reduce mosquito breeding sites, and promote cleaner waterways and healthier communities.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Roxas continues to actively support DENR-led environmental initiatives through regular participation in clean-up drives, tree-growing activities, responsible waste management programs, and by serving as a venue for environmental advocacy, public information campaigns, and community engagement activities.
These recognitions reaffirm Robinsons Malls’ commitment to environmental stewardship and meaningful partnerships that create positive impact beyond its developments. As a steady and dependable presence at the heart of communities across the Philippines, Robinsons Malls continues to work alongside government agencies, local stakeholders, and community partners to help build cleaner, greener, and more resilient communities for future generations.
