VMX actors John Mark Marcia and Mauro Salas are putting their trust in Viva as they navigate uncertainty in their showbiz careers following the controversy involving their manager, Lito de Guzman.
The two actors, who both star in the new VMX film ‘Haplos ni Milagros,’ admitted feeling nervous about what could happen next to their respective careers.

For now, Marcia and Salas are leaving their career direction in Viva’s hands, believing that the entertainment company will continue to look after them and provide opportunities moving forward.
The situation has also raised questions about the other artists being managed by de Guzman.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his career, Marcia kept things light when asked which celebrity he would want to “touch” him so he could hopefully inherit some showbiz luck.
Among male celebrities, Marcia immediately picked Coco Martin.
“Haplusin na lang ako ni Coco para magaya ko siya, para makuha ko ‘yung suwerte niya sa showbiz,” he quipped.
When asked to name a female celebrity, Marcia chose Coleen Garcia, whom he described as beautiful and possessing an angelic appeal.
The actor also candidly addressed questions about receiving indecent proposals in showbiz.
“Proposal? Marami pero tinatanong ko kung magkano, joke lang,” Marcia said with a laugh.
He added that such propositions no longer come as a surprise to him.
“Normal na po, normal na ‘yung ganyan sa showbiz, may nagtatanong-tanong,” he shared.
Instead of entertaining such offers, however, Marcia said he would rather establish friendships with people who approach him.
“Ako po kasi friendly po akong tao talaga. Sabi ko sa kanya maging magkaibigan na lang tayo, ‘di mo kailangan gumastos. ‘Yun ‘yung sinasabi ko sa tao, dahil masarap akong maging kaibigan,” he said.
Meanwhile, Marcia takes on the role of Erwin in ‘Haplos ni Milagros,’ a devoted husband whose struggle with erectile dysfunction has put a strain on his marriage to Olive, played by Anya Austria.
Desperate to find a cure, Erwin travels to seek the help of Milagros, played by Vern Kaye, a mysterious faith healer in a remote province believed to possess miraculous healing powers.
What begins as a search for healing eventually develops into a forbidden relationship between Erwin and Milagros. At the same time, Olive, who has endured years of loneliness and unfulfilled desires, finds comfort in their driver Jomar.
The film also stars Honey Abe and Mauro Salas.
Directed by Christopher Novabos, ‘Haplos ni Milagros’ begins streaming exclusively on VMX on August 14, 2026.
