In line with its 10th anniversary celebration, top local auditing firm KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. (KPMG RGM&Co), the Philippine member firm of KPMG International, recently welcomed three new partners to further strengthen the Firm’s capabilities.
New audit partner Maria Arleene C. Yu brings with her 14 years of audit experience and has worked on various assignments carrying out the audits of KPMG RGM&Co’s biggest clients. She has significant experience in the financial audits of various sectors, which include food and beverages, power utilities, pharmaceutical and healthcare, business process outsourcing, real estate, and manufacturing.
New tax partner Ryan E. Cabello, meanwhile, has successfully assisted clients in their handling of tax assessments conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue; securing tax treaty relief applications; filing administrative claims for refund; and preparing Independent Certified Public Accountant Reports before the Court of Tax Appeals. Currently, he is a member of KPMG’s Energy and Natural Resources network.
New advisory partner Jallain Marcel S. Manrique, on the other hand, has over 10 years of domestic and international experience in information technology governance, risk and compliance in the field of financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, BPO/shared services, etc. A seasoned IT project manager, his expertise lies in the synergy between IT and business, focusing on IT governance, risk and compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, IT assurance and attestation, IT-enabled transformation, data and analytics, and IT project management. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt.
