- For the first time, tickets to the annual ABS-CBN Christmas Special was made available through KTX (Kapamilya Tickets).
ABS-CBN’s Just Love Christmas Special was attended once more by avid fans who enjoyed all-out performances of Kapamilya stars after they scored live show tickets with just a few clicks via the Kapamilya Tickets online portal or KTX.
For the first time, tickets to the annual ABS-CBN Christmas Special was made available through KTX (Kapamilya Tickets), the ultimate online portal that gives Filipinos easy access to ABS-CBN shows and events, as well as a way to get tickets to KidZania.
Among the thousands who witnessed the Christmas Special at the big dome because of KTX was Belinda Bautista, a first time viewer of the annual event. According to Belinda who learned about KTX through a TV commercial, the ticketing portal made it possible for her to watch the show live minus the hassle.
“It was faster to get a ticket for the Christmas Special because KTX made it convenient for me to get access to the show. We didn’t have to line up to score tickets,” she said.
Another Kapamilya fan who liked her KTX experience was Cecile Espenila, a Joshlia fan who hails from Laguna.
Instead of commuting all the way to Manila just to avail tickets, Cecile got to book slots for her and her fellow Joshlia fans through KTX, saving her time and money.
“The website is easy to use because of its simple instructions. The people at the counter where we claimed our Christmas Special tickets were also smiling,” she explained.
Armed with posters and LED letter lights that were seen brightly from the stage, Belinda, Cecile, and their fellow fans had a fun experience as they cheered wildly for their favorite stars.
Winter Erguiza, ABS-CBN OIC head of customer relationship management said that KTX gives the public a chance to make their dream of watching their favorite ABS-CBN shows and idols live in a convenient manner.
“Solid Kapamilya fans always go the extra mile to show their love for ABS-CBN and its stars. It’s about time we make the Kapamilya experience of watching our live shows and events special and convenient for them,” he elaborated.
ABS-CBN, which is transitioning into a digital company, is the first among TV networks in the Philippines to launch its very own online ticketing portal. Meanwhile, “Kapamilya Thank You” customer loyalty program members can enjoy a single sign-on Kapamilya Name to access the KTX website (ktx.abs-cbn.com), which is accessible using any device anywhere.
