In the book launch of Beau Ang’s Para Kay Ex, Angelica Panganiban graced the event to sign some books. One of Angelica’s ex-boyfriends came and surprised her at the event. He gave her a bouquet of flowers which made many netizens scream with delight.
Carlo Aquino also quipped that he acted as a representative for all Angelica’s ex-boyfriends.
Recently, Angelica and Carlo can also be seen hanging out often. Still, when asked if there would be a possibility of the two getting back together, Angelica answered:
“Siguro mas nagiging visible lang kami sa mga tao dahil parehas kaming single. So,
nagkakaroon ng meaning, kasi dati hindi nagkakaroon ng meaning dahil in a relationship kami. Ngayon, may tuksuhang nangyayari kasi single, tapos may past kami.”
Angelica wanted to endorse Beau Ang’s Para Kay Ex as a way to point out that even though she remains a celebrity, she also experience heartbreak. She also expressed her happiness at having her opinions matter.
“Natutuwa naman ako na ganito pala iyong suporta, na nagma-matter pala sa kanila iyong opinyon ko. Nakakataba ng puso.”
Angelica reminded everyone that she is not trying to catch someone’s attention. Nonetheless, she wants people to know that she can get hurt, too.
“Hindi naman ito pagpapansin… Gusto kong maraming tao ang ma-touch na hindi porke’t nag-a-artista kami, nasa likod kami ng camera ay iba na iyong takbo ng buhay namin. “Pare-parehas tayong pinagdadaanan –puwedeng masaktan, maloko at madapa. Pero pare-parehas din tayo na dapat ingatan ang sarili, at kailangan tumayo tayo at lumaban.”
