Rumors suggest that it won’t be long enough that Kapuso Primetime King and Queen will have new but separate projects for the network. The said rumors stated that Dingdong Dantes will have a new series for the summer.
On the other hand, Marian Rivera will return to heavy drama series. Marian will also soon be partnered with an unnamed Kapuso leading man in the said upcoming series.
When Marian signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network, she had put her whole trust to her management when deciding for projects to pursue. Marian also added that Triple A and GMA remains considerate of her, especially, when she decided to get married to Dingdong and also have baby Zia.
“For sure meron at meron. Siyempre, after ng contract signing, for sure after next month magmi-meeting kami, ‘O Marian, ito yung mga projects naming para sa ‘yo, ito ang gagawin natin.’ So palagi namang ganun ang GMA sa akin, e. Fair and square talaga sila. Lahat ng kung anong gusto nila, transparent sila sa akin. Parang lahat ng gusto nilang gawin hanggang sa nag-asawa ako, nagka-anak ako. At hanggang ngayon kaya very thankful talaga ako especially ‘pag nagko-collab sila ng management ko, with Triple A and GMA , parang panatag ang loob ko.”
Marian and Dingdong’s last series turned out to be action-drama series Alyas Robin Hood and Super Ma’am.
In the early February, Marian still wasn’t sure about the possibility of doing another heavy drama prime-time soon. However, at the time, she can’t confirm nor deny.
“Why not? Tignan natin, nasa plano kasi ng GMA ‘yan. Never kong kokontrahin ang plano sa akin ng GMA… Kung ano yung gusto nilang ibigay at makakabuti para sa career ko, e, magtitiwala ako sa kanila.”
