The current mayor of Quezon City, Herbert Bautista, is on his last term and there’s a probability that his close friend Willie will take over the position.
Rumors gained traction when a video called “Duterte. Revillame.” featuring Willie Revillame and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte talking to each other went viral on July 30.
Sara Duterte is the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte and has as of late been hogging political headlines. Her own regional party “Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP)” is making its presence felt.
A few months back, Willie and President Duterte were also seen talking to each other during the wake of the late senator Edgardo Angara. Their conversation lasted five hours and it was the son of the late senator himself, Sonny Angara, who persuaded Willie to talk to the President.
