Kambal Karibal had its ending on August 3, Friday. The top-rating series stars Bianca Umali, Kyline Alcantara, Pauline Mendoza and Miguel Tanfelix among others. Kyline gained supporters, portraying her kontrabida role as Cheska.

In their last taping day, the cast and crew of Kambal Karibal had a seafood boodle fight. Kyline sat down with director, cameramen and other production staff. She noted how she loved sitting and sharing stories with them.
“Sa last taping day ko, tina-try kong huwag isipin na mag-i-end na po talaga kami. So, inaalis ko sa isipan ko yung negative energy na magtatapos na nga kami. So, ini-enjoy na lang tayo yung time with them, and for the past three days, hindi ako masyadong nag-i-stay sa tent. At, hindi ako kumakain sa long table ng tent kundi nasa long table ako kasama ang mga cameramen, ng direktor namin, ng mga nasa prod. Sila pa nga yung nagsasabi sa akin na, ‘Ba’t nandito ka?’ Sabi ko naman, ‘Okey lang ako dito, masaya ako.’”

Kyline admitted that Kambal Karibal became her second chance to revive her career via television. She used to be a Kapamilya child star and portrayed Andrea Brillantes‘s bully in 2013 version of Annaliza.
“Sobra, sobra! Yeah, promise talaga, promise. Pinipigilan ko talagang umiyak. I can say naman po na Kambal, Karibal ang parang nag-save sa akin—sa career ko, sa life ko, sa ano ng family ko. Kaya, gusto ko talaga silang ituring na ka-pamilya ko, dahil na-reborn talaga ako sa Kambal. So, parang sila na ang naging nanay at tatay ko, at iniluwal nila ako.”

Kyline wants to work with her Kambal Karibal co-stars in her future projects with GMA Network.
“Oo naman po. Sobrang okay po. Kasi ang pakiramdam ko…kasi, work po yun. Mas magiging kumportable po ang work ko, kasi kumportable na po kami sa isa’t isa. So, why not? Maganda po ang koneksiyon namin at yung teamwork.”
