Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez reunited through the supernatural-drama series La Luna Sangre. The show became Richard’s first project as a Kapamilya.
Angel and Richard were a former screen pair who grew to become good friends.

Earlier this year, Angel shared how Richard remained a heartthrob to many.
“Iba kasi ‘yung pakiramdam na ‘yung kasabayan mo sa trabaho, makikita mo ‘yung malaki ang in-improve, tapos sinisigawan ng mga tao pa rin, hinahangaan pa rin ng mga tao.”
She explained how proud she is of Richard’s maturity. She, then, continued to applaud his improvement as an actor.
“So, parang mapa-proud ka na kasabayan ko ‘to, and si Chard kasi hindi lang nag-mature as an actor kundi sa buhay… sa real life niya… Ang galing-galing na niya umarte, nakakatuwa. Pero nandun na yung isang tingin lang namin, hindi namin sinasadya, basang-basa na namin ang nuances ng bawat isa.”
Reunion movie on-hold.
Star Cinema put Richard and Angel’s reunion movie on-hold. Although they both starred and reunited in La Luna Sangre, many fans are still waiting for their reunion movie.
During a contract signing in May, Richard thinks that Star Cinema only wanted to enhance and improve the script.
“I think we should ask someone from Star Cinema to answer. But me, I am just looking forward to any project or movies na I’ll be doing with Star Cinema. But for now, I think it’s put on hold. I think pinapaganda lang ‘yung script.”
They have yet to announce whether or not the reunion movie is still a go.
