It looks like ABS-CBN’s “The Legal Wife” starring Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador, JC de Vera, and Jericho Rosales will have the same fate as GMA Network’s “Carmela Ang Pinakamagandang Babae Sa Mundong Ibabaw” in terms of length of its airing on television. These two TV series both started in January 27.
“The legal Wife” started as the fifth most-watched TV program with a 21% national TV rating versus its rival show “Carmela” which only scored 14.4% and “Rhodora X” with 11%. The latest ratings released by Kantar Media on April 3, Thursday showed that “The legal Wife” is now on fourth most-watched TV show with 21.8% while “Carmela Ang Pinakamagandang Babae Sa Mundong Ibabaw” gained a lot from its pilot rating of 14.4% to 18.2%.
Based on Mico del Rosario’s reply to a fan, “The Legal Wife” will end on May. We are still not sure if this will coincide with “Carmela Ang Pinakamagandang Babae Sa Mundong Ibabaw’s” end on May 16. We’ll see…
