  • Don’t miss one game of March’s exciting NBA action as teams make their final push for the NBA Playoffs starting with the heated rivalry match between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder this Friday (March 1)

The NBA’s entering its late stage as teams gear up for the final push to earn a Playoff spot come April or drop to the lottery and wait for another year to take a shot at the Larry O’Brien trophy.

As the games intensify, especially the Playoffs and bubble teams, so shall the coverage of the NBA on ABS-CBN S+A and “NBA SabaDos” starting with the explosive match-up of the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder this Friday (March 1) at 9 am, LIVE on S+A.

It’s a known fact that 76ers star Joel Embiid and Thunder star Russell Westbrook don’t like each other, paving the way for another heated match-up between two Playoff-bound teams. The Cameroonian All-Star of the Sixers has been currently nailed to the bench nursing a day-to-day injury while the Thunder seem to have figured out how to play with Westbrook and Paul George, who has been having a stellar season.

Meanwhile, the weekend fires off with an exciting Brooklyn Nets squad against the Charlotte Hornets on “NBA SabaDos” this Saturday (March 2) on ABS-CBN, LIVE at 8:30 am. The Nets have experienced a resurgence thanks to the All-Star level of play that D’Angelo Russell churned out this year. But will it be enough to topple “Cardiac” Kemba Walker and his Hornets?

On Sunday (March 3), action is back out west with the Thunder visiting the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center LIVE at 9:30 am. The Spurs are currently in the mix for the last Playoff spot in the Western Conference, where they might be missing their first playoffs in the Gregg Popovich era, and would love to book a win against a contender.

Meanwhile, there is plenty of exciting basketball action that’s coming to S+A this March aside from the match-ups this weekend. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are also holding out for the eight-seed in the top-heavy West, especially with James’ streak of Playoff appearances on the line. They’ll be facing the Boston Celtics and Kyrie Irving on March 10, LIVE at 9:30 am then head to Toronto and face Kawhi Leonard on March 15, LIVE at 9:30 am on S+A.

Los Angeles’ other squad, the Clippers, who are also jockeying for Playoff position, will be doing their own push when they face the Brooklyn Nets on March 18, which will also air LIVE on S+A at 9 am.

Don’t miss one game of March’s exciting NBA action as teams make their final push for the NBA Playoffs starting with the heated rivalry match between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder this Friday (March 1) on S+A, LIVE at 9 am.
