Dubbed as “Asia’s Acoustic Sweetheart,” the 24-year-old Filipina’s signature acoustic style has been delighting listeners across Asia for some time now, having released six albums, some of which reached multi-platinum success. This 25-year-old Davaoena’s previous albums were multi-platinum sellers, optimistic that her song and career continue to flourish in more countries not only in Asia but to the world. Her brand new album ‘I Love Acoustic 6’ has been officially launched.
In a Bloggers Conference for her newest album ‘I Love Acoustic 6,’ Sabrina performed live in front of the bloggers for then to hear her beautiful voice! It’s no doubt that Kris Aquino also loves her music because indeed, her voice is captivating. Since Kris is known for being a choosy person, it’s surely an honor to be part of her playlist.
Featuring current hit songs in her signature acoustic style, the album includes tracks “Almost is Never Enough” featuring Myk Perez from the Voice of the Philippines; Katy Perry’s “Roar;” the Royals’ “Lorde;” Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop;” One Direction’s “Best Song Ever;” Bruno Mars’s “Treasure” and “When I Was Your Man;” Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines;” One Republic’s “If I Lose Myself;” Taylor Swift’s “22;” Zeddy’s “Clarity;” Pink’s “Just Give Me A Reason” featuring Nate Ruess; and David Guetta’s “Titanium” featuring Sia. The bonus tracks “Treasure” and “We Can’t Stop” are collaborations with famous Thai artists King Pichet and Oil Kundijira.
This album also showcases Sabrina’s growth as a songwriter with the single “Paradise”. This is the second time that an original song is included in an “I Love Acoustic” album. Sabrina also recently did a duet with American singer Richard Marx for the song “This I Promise You” which came out on his latest album “Now and Forever: The Ballads”.
‘I Love Acoustic 6’, the new album from Asia’s Acoustic Sweetheart Sabrina, is now out in CDs at leading record stores under MCA Music. It is also available through digital downloads via spinnr.ph and iTunes.
