On the high trend of the search for the new ‘Darna,’ after actress Liza Soberano’s withdrawal from the movie project due to health conditions, it was also revealed that the search for the next ‘Darna’ is open to the public and I guess everyone out there is curious enough on the happenings over at the ‘Darna’ auditions.
One of the new faces of Star Magic Circle 2018 Batch 8, Anna Luna, had her first hand experience on aspiring to be the next ‘Darna’ when she auditioned for the role.
One of the lead stars of the movie ‘Changing Partners,’ Anna Luna, was known that she also auditioned for the role in the upcoming iconic movie ‘Darna.’ On the press conference of ‘Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Tao,’ where she is one of the female lead stars, she shared her experience and what had happened during the audition.
“Nag-audition po ako, Grabe! Pinag-audition po nila ako.”
Anna Luna also mentioned that she felt nervous during the audition but that it was fine and she clearly shared that she didn’t have to wear ‘Darna’s’ costume, as some readings of lines were made.
“Okay naman ho, okay naman ho. Wala, walang costume po. Reading lang saka kunyari sinasalag-salag mo yung mga bala.”
She even jokingly tells that on the day of the audition, she wasn’t ready for any body/figure exposure since she just came from a celebration.
“Kasi nung audition, akala ko titingnan yung katawan, sabi ko hindi pa ako prepared, galing ako ng handaan. Mga ganyan ho. Pero nag-reading lang naman ho. At saka hindi lang naman ako, marami rin akong kasabay.”

The top contender for ‘Darna,’ Nadine Lustre, happens to be a friend of Anna Luna. When asked if she won’t be chosen, but Nadine will be, she humbly answered, “Oho! Ako masaya ako dahil unang-una, kaibigan ko yun. Dyusko! Parang ang paglipad niya ay paglipad ko na rin!”
Anna Luna will be up on her upcoming movie ‘Tayo sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon’ of TBA Studios that will be shown on May 8, 2019
