For the first time, the short films of Third Year BA Communication students from Holy Angel University will be showcased on the big screen as part of IntFILM SHORTS 2026.

The screening serves as the students’ final requirement for their Introduction to Film course—marking a significant milestone in their journey as aspiring filmmakers.

The Gala Premiere will take place on April 30 at Marquee Mall Cinema, where three original short films will be presented to the public.

Each film offers a unique narrative, reflecting the creativity and perspective of young storytellers:

Tatlong Anak, Isang Bubong. The story revolves around the childhood home of three siblings. As they face the decision to sell it, deeper emotional conflicts begin to surface.

The film also features Miguel Manikan, son of seasoned actress Susan Africa.

Kung Mananatili… This film explores the question: How do you move on from a failed relationship?
It stars Krishna Yasser Rodriguez, adding a fresh face to the emotional narrative.

Ang Natatanging Gay Virgin ng Bagong Henerasyon. Centered on friendship, the film tackles themes of gay awakening and sexual identity—offering a coming-of-age story that resonates with today’s generation.

While each film presents a different story, they all share one common thread: they are passion projects brought to life by students eager to express their ideas and voices through cinema.

IntFILM SHORTS 2026 is not just a school requirement—it is a celebration of young Filipino talent and a glimpse into the future of local filmmaking.

Catch the Gala Premiere on April 30 at Marquee Mall Cinema and support the next generation of storytellers.
